Amberg Cemetery Map
As one approaches the cemetery on Spencer Avenue there are three entrances. The center one is called Main Lane with the other two identified as the West and East lanes. The lanes are helpful in determining the location of the sections. All three lanes turn onto the South lane which runs East and West. There is a six foot walkway between the first and second row of sections that also runs East and West. There are three foot walkways that run North and South between each lot that is not shown on the map. Each lot has 8 graves as shown at the bottom of the map.
To locate a grave you first need a location code given in the alphabetical listing of the Amberg Cemetery. For example, the grave location you are looking for is given as 4_6_5. The first four gives the section number. Section four is the first section in the first row on the map. The six is the lot number. This lot is in the upper left hand corner of the section 4 on the map below. To find the location of grave number 5 you need to look at the grave location map at the bottom of this map. Grave 5 is located in the left column third row.
